Messages to All Staff of China Shipping (Group) Company Home and Abroad by President Li Shaode
All (Group) Company Staff:
First, would you please be kind to honor me a chance to express my good wishes to you. It is favorably acknowledged that since her inception from 1997, China Shipping (Group) Company has evolved a lot and been strengthened quite well under previous leadership by Mr. Li Kelin over 9 years, now, China Shipping (Group) Company develops fast with her substantial undertaking growth and escalated reputation home and abroad, thus, laid an important basis for the centurial upsurge of China Shipping (Group) Company, now, may I be honored to express my care and heartfelt gratitude to you all!

Mr. Li Kelin has retired from his presidency for age reason, while I take the presidency now, personally, I am consciously aware of the responsibility of the post. Whereas, I am confident about a bright future for China Shipping (Group) Company on condition that our insistent adherence to Scientific Outlook and our hard work.
It is my wish for you to carry forward the spirit of “Love Group, Entrepreneur Endeavor”, to reinforce our unity and brave for exploitation, improve management level and economic benefit, realize a faster and better development for oversea industries, strive for the objective of “11th–Five Plan” of the Group, and thus make your contribution to our great drive- to forge a world-first shipping line.
For a long term, you stay away from your motherland and kindred, you present your unselfish contribution to the Group development and container shipping cause; it is my hope that you take good care of your health, safety, strengthen unity and make continuous progress!
Now, let me express and forward my care and heartfelt thanks to you, your kindred and all oversea staff as well.

In commenting the later work, Mr. Li Shaode de set forth 4 points
as follows:
Firstly, to further strengthen political theoretical study and arm all staff with Deng Xiaoping Theory and the Important Thought of “Three Representatives”, to reinforce political consciousness, sense of overall situation and sense of responsibility, try to improve leading competence and stick to excellent running of the state-owned enterprise.
Secondly, to implement the Scientific Outlook on Development in full-scale, tackle the relation of reform, development and stability in a sound means, to deepen enterprise reform, enhance enterprise management level and speed the development of China Shipping (Group) Company, build up the core competence of China Shipping (Group) Company, expand the comprehensive economic power of China Shipping (Group) Company and thus push the building of a harmonious China Shipping (Group) Company in a down-to-earth way.
Thirdly, to build a management team, stick to democratic centralism, concrete the solidarity and communication, to build the management team in light of the requirements of “4 Excellence Management Principle” standard specified by the Central Organization Department, adhere to simultaneous focusing on “2 Civilization Building”, give the enterprise Party team’s core political role full play while concentrating to enterprise normal running.
Fourthly, to forge socialist concepts of “Eight Honors and Disgraces” in mind to a concrete degree while setting himself as example, to manage and require himself, his/her staff and kindred to be loyal to their respective work post and adhere to studious and clean work style in strict line with the cadre clean work style requirements by the Central Committee and the State Council and the Central Discipline Supervision Committee.
